Back when I visited my first CPA firm office with Beta Alpha Psi, it was actually at this office in Tampa (formerly Pender Newkirk). Ralph Garcia was the Managing Partner and is now the Managing Member of this Warren Averett office.

I sat down with Ralph and Carrie Gordon, HR Coordinator who gave a ton of detailed information on what they look for from their accounting candidates in the recruiting process, some of the unique ways people have reached out to the firm, and how you can succeed once you join the firm.

you know, I just dont get it. Why did they not give examples of acceptable social things to do? Why does someone collecting insects have to do with acccounting? Why do they care about this?? or going to africa, do they think everyone can afford to go to africa when I am busy studying for CPA? I wrote in my CV i am learning 10 languages (true), like video games, participate in toastmasters, but no one cares because its weird to them. Please give me acceptable hobbies to society so I can do them and finally get a job. Thank you for the interview
