Rod has an incredible story that I am thrilled to share with you! He started like many traditional accountants with Arthur Young which has eventually become EY. Incredibly he won the New Zealand entrepreneur of the year award from EY many years later in 2013.
Xero is quite incredible company, imagine this: Rod started a company in his home country that became one of the largest 5 companies in his home country, amazing! Put yourself in the shoes of that experience!
Another interesting fact about Xero and Rod is that he had Peter Thiel (yes, the first Facebook investor and Paypal Co-founder) to invest in Xero, multiple times!
